A visit to Dual Works in Kenyon Street always took you into a magical world where anything and everything seemed possible, having worked on many projects in 2018/2019 they have also managed to complete their new showroom. The showroom is a fantastic space not only to see their latest designs and products from the quarter.haus range but also to discuss new collaborations.
They are currently working on a collaborative commission with Sense a charity that supports people who have complex disabilities, including deafblindness, to communicate and experience the world and Swoomptheeng a Birmingham based audio visual collective, making a sensory sculpture the Sense community to enjoy at TouchBase Pears here in Birmingham.
Regular workshops continue to be part of their offer with many a person now completely competent in power tools because of them.
Dual Works are designer makers Steve Snell and Zoe Robertson. You can see Zoe Robertson in the current edition of Craft Magazine which looks at craft as performance
